Waltz of Violet

This is a remake of a similar pic I drew in May. I wanted to apply my knowledge I gained over the year, including the recent idea to actually DRAW in photoshop instead of transferring. So now the pic has a background, colour changes, and just a different style! And I loves it so much!! So much purple!! 8D

Like I said in the original version of this, this is a scene (well, more of a scene now than the 1st pic) from my in-progress novel. It's a scene of Ray and Hikari's that I absolutely can't wait to write while they are in Ray's home city. The hardest thing about this pic was the background, because I was conflicted with colour choice. And because I don't draw backgrounds very often...but I plan to draw more pics with background from now on.

Um, so I think I'll just leave it at that, cuz if I start talking about it, this description will be crazy long, lol.

The characters, the background, and the pic itself is all property of mine!

Edit: Hikari's hair was bothering me a lot, so I changed the way it was shaded and such. Same with Ray, even though he didn't bother me (though he would of if Hikari changed). Also made the flames slightly brighter, but not much.
